We’re building out our field team for a new pilot across four districts — Lira, Dokolo, Apac, and Otuke — and hiring 16 Org Coordinators, 4 per district, to lead it on the ground.
This is a dual-phase role. You’ll start by onboarding SACCOs and dealers in your area — then shift into field-agent mode, verifying and assessing the farmers those organisations bring onto the platform. You report to our Field Lead, who scopes your district and sets targets.
Ideal for someone from or deeply connected to their district, comfortable moving between institutional conversations (SACCO leadership, dealers) and one-on-one farmer verification.
What you’ll do
Phase 1 — Onboard institutions
- Recruit and onboard SACCOs in your district onto the ShareCARD platform.
- Recruit dealers — both wholesale trading partners and retail commercial agents.
- Work toward your district’s share of the pilot target: 100 SACCOs and 200 dealers across all four districts.
Phase 2 — Verify farmers
- Switch into field-agent mode once your SACCOs and dealers are onboarded.
- Verify and assess farmers referred by those SACCOs and dealers, contributing to the pilot’s 1,000-farmer target.
- Keep records accurate and up to date on the ShareCARD app.
Throughout
- Report progress to your Field Lead against a 4-month milestone.
- Represent ShareCARD professionally with SACCO leadership, dealers, and farmers in your district.
Requirements
- Based in, or with strong existing ties to, Lira, Dokolo, Apac, or Otuke district.
- Comfortable engaging SACCO leadership and dealers as well as individual farmers.
- Reliable smartphone use for app-based data collection.
- Prior experience with SACCOs, agri-input dealers, or farmer organising is a strong plus.
- Self-directed and target-driven — this role is measured on onboarding volumes.
Compensation
A monthly base salary, plus performance incentives for every SACCO, dealer, and farmer you onboard or verify. Full structure shared with shortlisted candidates.
