About this cohort

We’re partnering with leading digitization financiers to fund selected agribusinesses, cooperatives, and sponsors onto ShareCARD. Credits are issued in $100 steps — $5,000 is 50 steps — covering platform usage for your first eight months: digitize operations, manage agents, issue cards, and track supply chains without paying upfront.

What a SACCO looks like after eight months.

Before: paper records, WhatsApp groups, and the memory of field agents. After eight months on ShareCARD:

Farmers

Registered with biometric KYC and issued a verified Trade Identity — a permanent identity for every financial interaction.

Fields

GPS-mapped with polygon boundaries linked to crop records — exactly what insurers and EU buyers require.

Operations

Every delivery, transaction and payment captured in real time by field agents — eight months of evidence, not estimates.

Credit profile

Built from verified transaction data — turning a SACCO’s track record into a bankable credit profile.

Market access

EUDR-compliant traceability certificates generated automatically — opening EU export markets.

What’s included

$5,000 credits to use across all ShareCARD modules

Dedicated onboarding support from our team

Guided training for your team on platform usage

Priority access to new features

Co-branded impact reporting

One-time, at onboarding

Farmer KYC & biometric registration
Card issuance — verified ShareCARD ID
Physical card production

Monthly, × 8 months

Admin seats — staff managing the platform
Agent seats — field agents registering farmers

For a typical organisation — 500 farmers, 3 admin seats, 5 agent seats — the $5,000 credit package covers the full eight months, with surplus remaining.

For funding partners

Do you already fund or support SACCOs and agribusinesses?

If part of your programme covers digitisation, market systems, or SACCO capacity-building, you may be able to extend Digitize Africa credits to the organisations you already work with — instead of each one applying individually.

01

Nominate the organisations you already fund or support

02

We apply their credits directly — no separate application per organisation

03

Track digitization progress across your whole portfolio, co-branded

Any scale

Sponsor one SACCO to pilot, or your whole network at once.

Credits are issued in $100 steps, so we can size a sponsorship to fit your programme exactly — tell us your scale on a call.

What you get back

An Evidence Pack at Month 4 and Month 8, per SACCO.

Verified farmer count, GPS plot registry, delivery & transaction volume, credit profiles, repayment rate, and ESG metrics — real operational data, not a self-reported summary.

Data, ownership, and what happens if plans change.

Registered with Uganda’s Personal Data Protection Office under the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.

Who owns the data?

Farmer data belongs to the farmer and their SACCO. ShareCARD is data processor under a signed Data Sharing Agreement — partners receive aggregated Evidence Pack metrics only.

If a SACCO exits early?

Credits are reallocated to a reserve organisation. The sponsoring partner is notified within 5 business days.

If credits run out before Month 8?

The SACCO applies for an extension. ShareCARD approves within 48 hours, at no additional cost.

Data after the cohort?

Records remain on the platform. If a SACCO doesn’t continue to a paid subscription, data is archived and accessible on request.
