Terms of Use.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ShareCARD platforms, as well as agreeing to use our services (collectively referred to as “Services”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

ShareCARD Ltd runs a digital platform that facilitates data collection, aggregation and analysis. Processing data about your business activities.

3. Account Management

  • To use our Services, you are required to create an account and register information using this link https://dashboard.ShareCARDapp.com/. The information should include the basic organization details, first and last name of the registering individual, contact information including their role in the organization, project sector, and goals. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and are liable for all activities conducted under your account. We will monitor your account activity to ensure compliance to these terms and conditions, as well as for security purposes.
  • We may modify or enhance account features and settings at our discretion.


4. User Obligations

When using our Services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information;
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, which include data protection and privacy laws of Uganda;
  • Not use our Services for any illegal or unauthorized purposes;
  • Not engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the proper functioning of our Services.


5. Data Collection and Verification

The data collected from the organizations will include organization details, first and last name of the registering individuals, their contact information including their role in the organization, the project and sector goals of the organization.
Field agent accounts will be created by the organization administration account and credentials will be sent via email.
Field agents will use the ShareCARD agent app to collect data on the beneficiaries. The data collected from the field agents will include but not limited to audit trails, demographic details of the agent, needs assessment surveys, service utilization, national ID information, GPS information, contact details, and feedback from the beneficiaries, these details will be shared with the organization.

6. Resource tracking and management

The ShareCARD dashboard provides for resource tracking in order to ensure distribution of resources is done right and that there is accountability at every stage. In order to do this, ShareCARD will need to collect resource allocation details, distribution timelines, and benefi ciary feedback on received services.

7. Intellectual Property

ShareCARD Ltd retains all rights, title, and interest in and to its intellectual property, including but not limited to its website and software. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit consent.
You may use our intellectual property upon grant of a non-exclusive and non-transferable license for business purposes and research. This license will be terminated upon breach of these terms.

8. Privacy
Your use of our Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our Services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Tracking
We will collect information about your use of our services, encompassing but not limited to cookies, search queries, browsing, analytical tools to track your use of our services, personalize and refine your experience, and enhance our platform.
You may choose to halt tracking by following the cancellation procedures.

10. Termination
ShareCARD Ltd reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to our Services at our discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms of Use or for any other reason.

11. Limitation of Liability
Besides the liability brought about by our role under the data protection and privacy regulations of Uganda, ShareCARD Ltd is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services or any content provided through our Services.

12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold ShareCARD and its affi liates, offi cers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of our Services or violation of these Terms of Use.

13. Interactions with Third Parties
ShareCARD Ltd uses external services, tools, or platforms to provide its services, and they are responsible for their actions and omissions. We may use third-party services on condition you agree to comply with their terms and conditions.
We may share your data with third-party service providers, and we will ensure they comply with our data protection policies and applicable laws. We will monitor and manage the activity and performances of third-party service providers to ensure they meet our standards.
ShareCARD Ltd may suspend your Services if your interactions with third-parties put the company at risk.

14. Client Third-Party Interactions
You are accountable for your interactions with third parties and responsible for your own contracts or agreements with them. You must ensure that these interactions comply with our data protection policies and applicable laws.
ShareCARD Ltd is exempt from any losses or damages resulting from your interactions with third parties.

15. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from this contract, the disputing party shall avail written notices to the other party without delay. All disputes will be resolved through negotiation, with mediation and arbitration serving as the final recourse.

16. Government Access
ShareCARD Ltd may disclose your information in response to lawful requests from government authorities in accordance with the law. You will be notified of any such request(s) unless prohibited by law. We will cooperate with government authorities with or without your consent, but with prior notice as mandated by law. We will protect your data from unauthorized access by the government in compliance with data protection laws and regulations.

17. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

18. Changes to Terms
ShareCARD Ltd reserves the right to modify or revise these Terms of Use at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
